Similar to our initiative in Mali, the Health Centre will be self-sustaining within 5 years. Our plan includes community involvement, local capacity building, training and oversight, and the establishment of income-generating initiatives within the Health Centre.

The Gambia faces significant challenges in healthcare infrastructure resulting in limited access to quality healthcare. We are closer than ever in reaching our goal of building a Health Centre that will serve a broad population providing primary healthcare, maternal and child health services, vaccinations and community health education.
