Similar to our initiative in Mali, the Health Centre will be self-sustaining within 5 years. Our plan includes community involvement, local capacity building, training and oversight, and the establishment of income-generating initiatives within the Health Centre.
We are closer than ever to opening a Health Centre that will serve a broad population providing primary healthcare, maternal and child health services, vaccinations and community health education. Our buildings are now complete and next steps are to purchase equipment and supplies and hire our staff.
